Hey all,

The July meeting of the Richmond, VA, Alumni Association of APO will be a
picnic at Byrd Park in Richmond. It will begin at 4PM to give us some extra
daylight time. All APO alumni in the Richmond and Central Virginia area
are welcome to attend (and if anyone wants to road-trip from further
away, go for it :-)...

We've got the hamburgers & hot dogs covered so far, but we have a list
of items that we would need at the end of this message. Please review it
and respond to Erik Jones (EReadingJ@aol.com) with what you're bringing
(or reply to this message and I'll forward it),... From my experience
with picnics, the more sodas and drinks there are, the better! Please
respond by no later than 6pm on Thursday (july 6). We want to figure out
who is bringing what just to avoid too much of any one thing and make
sure everything is covered.

IN CASE OF RAIN - A cancellation will be sent out the day of the picnic
(July 9th) no later than 12NOON. In that event, please call anyone who you
know is coming but who is not on the listserv or who's email is inaccessible
(ie at work).
