Brothers:
I just returned last night from the Section 98 Conference in San Juan,
Puerto Rico, and I just wanted to share with everyone that the brothers at
Omicron Nu Chapter really know how to show a person a wonderful time.
While they do not have a very large chapter in terms of membership, they
definitely have a very close bond of brotherhood not only among the active
members, but with their alumni brothers as well. They also have a very
active service program as well.
Working with Region IV Director Mike Nathan, I gave some presentations about
chapter operations and membership during the conference. The brothers there
were very eager to learn and had many questions. In addition, we met with a
number of alumni brothers during the weekend.
I hope that any brothers from the mainland who have the opportunity to visit
Puerto Rico in the future take the time to look up the brothers from Omicron
Nu because they definitely rock. They really know how to have a good time
and I am already considering a return visit in the future.
Congratulations are also extended to Luis Rosario who was also re-elected as
the Section 98 Chair.
Several of the brothers there have indicated that they are going to come to
the National Convention in Philadelphia and I am looking forward to seeing
my new friends then.
