Sorry about being so late on this, but i've been held up with potentially
changing jobs and moving.

Another successful Section 72 Conference was concluded April 30 in Atlanta,
Ga. with 7 out of 8 chapters in the Section in attendance.

Congratulations to Beta Zeta chapter at University of Georgia, who will be
hosting next year's sectional conference with the title, "Service Dawg-ie
Style" (get it? Bulldogs? nevermind.) Also congrats to Jeff White who was
re-elected to serve a second term.

Lastly, congratulations to the new petitioning group at Lagrange College!
The ceremony was held on April 30, 2000, and was led by brothers of the
Epsilon Eta chapter at the State University of West Georgia.

The weekend was also full of award presentations:

On Sunday, April 30, at the end of the Section 72 conference, a Section DSK
was awarded to Kim Harris, former Section Chair, Delta Kappa (Emory U.)
Advisory Chair and Alpha Rho alumnae (I'm not sure if that is right, but
then again I never took Latin.)

Also, receiving her Regional DSK was Laura Fowler. It had originally been
voted upon at the Regional conference in Columbia, SC in December 1999; and
was finally presented by Mike Nathan.

In addition (that weekend as part of the festivities), Delta Kappa Chapter
at Emory University distributed two chapter DSK's, one to Advisor Rev.
Luther Felder and one to Jordan Rose, who is graduating next week. It is the
first DSK awarded to an undergraduate at Delta Kappa.

That is all. May you all not go completely nuts over the next 2 weeks with
finals and such. Oh, yeah, have a good summer or something.
