Speaking of pledges--how would a small chapter of 5 actives get people
to join. We had an info meeting last week in where we invited the
sectional chair and a couple of alumni to attend. We had about 8 people
show up, and their question was--"If Alpha Phi Omega's so great, why do
you have only five actives?" How would you answer that question without
sounding like you're making excuses. We only had two that signed up
(but later pulled out because their parents didn't approve of
"fraternities"). I'd love to hear from chapters that went through this
and is now a thriving chapter...
