Hey there folks, its the Lone Stranger Dan in Reno again. Well Upsilon Psi
is once again in trouble. I'm the only active left so I am putting
together a Rush plan for this coming fall at the University of Nevada,
Reno. And what is really Ironic (or just plain cruel) is that I'm the
founding father of the chapter. And I get to do this all over again.
I've got a couple of things working against me here, I have to work full
time this time and I'm graduating in a year and a half.
I WILL do this folks, because I believe in this organization with all my
heart. But I need to know if anyone out there can spare some time August
23-27 or August 30-Sept 3. Brothers, Alum, Staff, anyone.. because its
just me here in Reno again.
I need Brothers who are on fire, who can be the example that I need to
show to potential pledges that its worthwhile to join. It would be a lot
easier than if all they see is one overworked neurotic senior throwing
pledge packets and slogans at them.
I also need Patrick Burke's work number at the Home Office because I have
to transfer all chapter funds back to National Office so that UNR does not
repossess them.
And I need for Beth Tom to email me her phone number. I lost a lot of APO
stuff while I was moving to a new apartment.
If I'm ranting and complaining a bit here folks, cut me some slack. I
never expected to have to do this all over again. I CAN and WILL do it
again, I just need someone to believe in me, that's all.
Anyways, my home phone is 775-815-7701. If any Brothers will be in the
vicinity of Reno for the last two weeks in August, PLEASE call me, I will
make it worth your while to be here.
