My opinion:
1) I don't like it
2) I don't like the fact we are paying for it
3) I don't like the fact that the Board made such an uninformed decision as
to hire a marketing company to "redevelop" the web site, especially with the
number of marketing and computer professionals within the Fraternity that
are already doing this work.

When I design web sites, I keep it to 640x480 (14" monitors) and try to keep
the graphics light. I figure that most computer users don't have several
$thousand to spend on a computer, so they likely have a small monitor, cheap
graphics card, and not a lot of processor.

Potential Solutions:

1) If the files from the old site are available, I would be willing to find
a new site where the old files can be restored and continue to be maintained
by the Web Team.

2) Provide a mechanism whereby the Web Team can contact the marketing firm
to help facilitate changes to the site, or at least provide feedback to the
marketing firm.

3) Provide the old files to the marketing company and make they restore the
old files to site until they can get the revised site working properly.

4) Petition Board to quickly resolve this matter and restore the old site to
apo.org. I understand the need for change, but I prefer change requests and
configuration management procedures...

5) Hostile takeover.

Respectfully submitted,
