According to the National History book (page 3 no less!) There were three
local fraternities with the name Alpha Phi Omega.

One is in Minnesota (though I don't remember the school), one of the other
was a Ripon College and existed both before and during the time that APO
had a chapter there.

I don't know who has info on them all. My guess would be either Pat or Bob
barkhurst, the national archivist.
