On Saturday May 22, 1999, Iota Phi chapter at the University of
California Davis welcomed 61 pledges of the Tony Wan pledge class into
active membership after ten weeks (two quarters) of pledging. Some of the
ten pledge projects included working with the Yolo County SPCA, a one-week
apartment recycling program, Sacramento Food Bank and a special project in
conjunction with Gamma Theta chapter (U of Colorado) sending quilt squares
and paper cranes to members of the community near Columbine High School.
