Hey there everyone,
As you may know, a few of us Hampton Roads area brothers are trying
to get a regional alumni association off the ground running, and are
looking for energetic brothers to help make this happen! As part of
our very young membership drive, we have decided to organize an event
for actives and alum alike all over the Section--APO NIGHT @ THE
PARK, as in Harbor Park, with the Norfolk Tides!
The Tides are the AAA Baseball farm team of the New York Mets, and
have produced such baseball stars as Dwight Gooden and Darryl
Strawberry. Harbor Park is a great place for food and fun, as it is
the nicest AAA Baseball park in the country! Even if you don't care
too much for baseball (I really don't), this is really a treat!
We don't have a date set yet, we'd need you guys to respond that you
want to go!! If we have 25 people, we can not only get a discount,
but also A-Phi-O announced over the stadium PA!! Maybe, even local
TV coverage! Tickets run about $6-7.
Remember, this is open to all APO Brothers, not just alumni, but we
are especially looking for alums and soon to be alums in the HR area.
