Traditionally, the national convention runs from
December 27 through December 30; allowing for one day
of travel time right after christmas, as well as two to
three days after the convention for a more or less
social gathering. So I would guess that the,
"official," business part of nationals is from December
27-30, 2000. But I would plan to be there from
December 26, 2000 through January 1 or 2, 2001. Unless
the Philly Committee decides to change something on
us,... ;-)

National conventions are not held in odd numbered
years, so there will not be a 1999 national convention.
Unless you're referring to a Regional Conference, of
which there are eleven of those this fall.
