I have an idea I would like to start with our spring pledge class to
learn about what the Corresponding Secretary does in the fraternity, but
I need your help to make this happen!

I wanted to start a e-mail pen pal between our pledges and those
brothers out there willing to respond. This, I believe, would help them
learn about inter-chapter correspondence, and also give them a sense of
APO outside of our chapter. More specifically, I would like them to have
a clue about how other chapters operate, what the atmosphere of each
chapter is like, and make some contacts that they can hook up with at
conferences and other inter-chapter events.

I would prefer that those who respond to this is limited to active
brothers or those currently pledging, because of what I want to have the
pledges get out of this exercise, and to not duplicate what other
officers are having our pledges do this term.

If you are interested, all you have to do is reply to me, and I will put
your address on my list of contacts. The pledges should then be
contacting you via e-mail within about a couple weeks of when you reply.

Thanks a lot for your help with this idea.

Jason A. Risner
