I think we have a good situation going, why are we so worried about
legal wrangles and such? We are one of the few organizations where we
get a common set of principles that several thousand people can agree on
and then make work. We do good work. In as much as I respect Mr.
Bridges' takes on certain matters (disagree or agree), I honestly feel
that yet another
"Title IX - APO - All-Male - Public/Private" multi-take rehash of issues
stated not more than 6 months a go is rather pointless. If someone wants
to propose an alternate organization, go through hoops, get universities
to approve a near-duplication of services (its an issue in many
campuses), then that's fine, go for it. If we want to debate the
all-male issue again, or anything similar, that's fine too. It's a free
country, just expect a lot of deletions in the mail file.

Let's debate something germaine to what we can do for APO for its future
and its present. Our eloquence on many issues has already been bandied,
let's find a new one.

Sincerely,
Richard D. Quodomine
