In response to Jesse's views:

I come from an ALL male chapter, and I have read your views on the
subject and I agree that all male chapters have a right to exsist,
provided that they are in agreement with the National Membership
Standards. If an all male chapter goes inactive it must come back
CO-ED.
I was at the past National Convention, and was present and voted
during the 6.5 hour debate on the all male issue. We got what we wanted
the right to stay all male, and not to be forced to go co-ed, provided
that our all male chapter did not go inactive. We did not press the
issue of trying to bring back all male chapters from the dead. That is
unreasonable. APO voted unanimously in 1975 to go CO-ED, and we have
to respect that fact.

I have had first hand experience with some of your efforts to bring back
old all male chapters. I will be glad to tell everyone on the forum
which campuses you wish to bring back. The funny thing is that they are
all old all male, all back chapters.

You and your APQ brothers must follow this rule like every other all
male chapter that went dead. Don't try to bring Gamma Sigma Sigma into
this discussion, cause they are Nationally CO-ED as well. GSS
membership policy is to take anyone and everyone. Just because a Gamma
Sigma Sigma chapter exist doesn't mean that a CO-Ed chapter of APO can't
be there too!

Spliting the Fraternity into 2 groups is not going to help anything, it
will just cause major confusion!!!!!!!!! The reason that the
Phillipeans is different is because they chose to be different before
they Started the Whole APO campaign over there.

We can't change just because you and a few APQ brothers want us to be
different! I saw how the people reacted to the all male issue at the
convention, and I KNOW from personal experience at the Conference that
if you proposed the ISSUE it would get voted down!!!!! There is no good
way to propose the split. It wouldn't even make it out of the reference
committee.

I am sorry if these offend anyone, but they are my own opinions on a
very touchy subject.
