Well, on a positive note I would like to commemorate the 87th
anniversary of the Girl Scouts. Despite whatever problems present
today, let us remember that the organization founded by Juliet Gordon
Low has had a profound and positive effect for girls and women all over
the world.
The Queensbury, NY incident is unfortunate and regrettable, but it is
hopefully an isolated one. I am confident that the Girl Scouts will
continue to provide a wonderful service to girls for many years to come.
