At Alpha Gamma (Purdue) the UGLY competition would change from year to
year. We went from the traditional Ugly Man On Campus, to Ugly Person
On Campus, to Ugly Person In the Community (Community leaders
participated), to Ugly Professor On Campus. I think the last one was
the most fun. For all of these we manned tables in the lobby of a
couple key buildings on campus, with jars on them and had a penny war
for who became UPOC. For the last four years, I am pretty sure that
there was at least one woman in the competition each year.
