Our chapter has developed a risk management policy that basically goes
along with National's and the university's. The things we have added are
in reference to behavior at events sponsored by the chapter. We have put
a clause in that says that if something happens after a member has left a
function or if it is not an official function, then we have no
responsibility for it. There is never any driving to an official event,
and no one is allowed to come (or even knows the location) unless they
ride the bus. We also have in the policy that there will be repercussions
ranging anywhere from a warning to expulsion from the chapter if the rules
are broken. The rules we have are mainly:
No one under 21 may drink.
No alcohol or cigarettes will be brought on the bus.
No illegal substances will be allowed.
Anyone who behaves in a manner exhibiting excessive drunkenness
                will be sent home.
All members are responsible for their guests that are not in the
                chapter.
I think that's basically it. I may have forgotten things, so if you have
questions feel free to ask.
