This is true, but how many students would this realistically effect?
Are we going to rule out the entire possibility of an august
convention just because a handful of students are taking finals from
summer courses and can't go? I think we would be relatively safe by,
if we were to do an august convention, set it for the second weekend
in august. You could schedule it from thursday through sunday of that
week (and if you're concerned about time, then start on wednesday,
which would be in the second week of august).
