We now have 11 Regions. Why not let the Regions experiment. If the
support is out there for a Summer Convention, than I am sure that a
give Region or two would be able to get enough support to move their
Regional Conference to the summer. Then the entire fraternity could
see how it works on a smaller scale.
Can you imagine a National Convention being scheduled for summer and
then we find out that it just is not going to work as the attendance
is only half of what it was average for the previous conventions.

P.S. If I had my way this entire issue would just disappear as an
alumnus/ grad student that would probably only be able to attend in
the winter and coming from a chapter which is on the quarter system
and has school over the summer and most likely would not be able to
send delegates to a Summer convention.
