depending on where you are, there can be horrendous weather conditions
in the summers too (hurricanes, heat waves, etc)

Some students do have to take summer classes every year, for financial
(your trying to get out of college ASAP) or academic (classes only offered
once a year, and your schedual is full that semester, etc etc). Besides
students shouldnt have to choose between attending summer school, or going
to the APO national convention. APO is a wonderful thing, but no where on
my degree does it say "APO". Also a lot of students work full time over
the summer, with no vacation time, to support themselves and gain
experience.

Although our Alumni are a wonderful group of people who do a lot for the
fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega is a fraternity for undergraduate students,
and thus the issue of when is best for alumni, is not as important as
when is best for the undergraduates.
