The supreme authority lies in the hands of the NATIONAL CONVENTION =
(meaning the legislative assembly.) While composed almost entirely of =
*active*delegates (and in a few cases, chapter advisors when so =
authorized by the chapter), there are roughly 20 or so alumni votes (10 =
alumni voting delegates and the members of the National Board.)
I'm not trying to be picky; I'm just trying to show that ACTIVES have =
the overwhelming majority in all matters and alumni still have *some*, =
albeit minor, say (and, to be truthful, I believe that's how it should =
be.)
Fraternally,
Mark Stratton
Section 52 Chair
Delta Xi Alumnus
Section 52 Alumni Association President
