There are some 55 - Sections in APO. Why not compete at a sectionals for
the best one, and then the winner the Sectionals immediately before
nationals gets to represent their section?
Simply put, this will reduce the entire Roll Call to a maximum of 2
hours, even with 90 second roll calls. It's better, because I have never
spent the entire 4 - 5 to whatever hours there. I have been to 4
straight, and I love roll call, but the crowd is usually empty by the
time the last chapter stands. It's gotta hurt that chapter to see a
"crowd" of 50 to 100 for their prepared roll call.
If a Section cannot get together for a contest before hand, certainly
chapters which arrive on the 26th or 27th can get together to have a
small competition decided by chair, though I would generally believe
that a Sectional Conference should turn the deal.
Thoughts? Ideas? Ammendments?
