I would have to agree with Mike. I have seen Roll Call dwindle over the
years and to speak truthfully, when I was an active brother at the
Boston convention, we stopped by for a couple of minutes and then went
about our business of meeting people outside of the roll call
activities.
For the folks planning Philly 2000 this might be something that we want
to consider. Change is good! Something new is bound to bring people
out.
There are some great programs out there that can fill the need of
getting people to interact.
Playfair programs
Inflatables (lazer tag, bungee run, Extreme Air, and so on.)
A Large group Keynote- Empower X! was at the Region I and II
Confernece (and many might have seen them on their own campuses)
Although events like these will cost some money, I think it is money
well spent. We continue to use the same old formula people will lose
interest. (A key in college programming).
Just my thoughts.

Pete
