i know i brought up this point before, and i'm sure a lot of you didn't
care for that fact then, but don't please hate me now.

with the new National Office link-with the various committee reports now
available on-line, I got to thinking about the toast song. For those of
you that don't know (or remember) DR sent in legislation in favor of
changing it to True To.

but WAIT, before you delete this message hear me out. okay, everyone
knows that the second verse of the toast song was added some years after
the first verse created. Okay, one way to keep the tradition of the
song-we were once all-male, but still have the PC (for a lack of better word) in
aspect in the inclusion of our female brothers.

how about keeping the first verse: "Men of...Our Fraternity"
and changing the second-being that it is traditional but not original:
"True to...May we always be." ?

this is the only way-i believe-to really appease everyone (to an extent)
by having the first tradition, and the second more modern, we are, more or
less, indirectly or inadvertantly, telling the story of APO. we were once
all-male-"Men of", but we are now coed.

again-i would rather people post their opinions to the list but that may
not be the general conscensus so please respond to my personal e-mail
