Not if they call themselves Alpha Phi Omega. If they are using the name
Alpha Phi Omega, they exist under the corporate umbrella of Alpha Phi Omega
and follow the rules set down by the National ByLaws & the policies
established by National Conventions and the Board of Directors. Right now
those rules include paying the $15 annual fee to register with the National
Office, sending in a roster, supplying the National Office with an
acceptable set of Alumni Association bylaws, and possibly one or two more
that I forget off the top of my head. If an alumni association doesn't want
to play by those rules, they are not entitled to use the name Alpha Phi Omega.
