If you are a member of a reference committee at the National Convention =
and have a laptop computer, we would appreciate you bringing it to the =
convention and using it to prepare your legislative reports. The =
convention committee may have a couple of spares but we do not have the =
16+ needed for each committee to have at least one. We'll take an =
inventory the first meeting of the committees. After the heavy use of =
laptops at the last convention we've forgotten life before them.
Legislation will be provided in Word to each committee. Desktops will be =
available in printing and publications with Office 97 so we expect to be =
able to use this to convert between different formats. Final reports =
will be produced in Word 95/97.
