Here is some travel tips that I thought I would pass on to everyone.

When travelling to places like Minneapolis you might want to do the
following:

1. Be as early as possible to the airport. Arriving maybe even 2 hours
before your flight is scheduled is a good idea.

2. Check in early at the gate. Sometimes they overbook flights near
the holidays and if you don't check in early, you might loose your seat.

3 Make sure your suitcase has visible luggage tags with the following
information

Name:
Address:
Phone number:

4. Pack light, but pack the appropriate clothing for the weather.
Make sure that you have a winter coat in your grip, because you can
never under-estimate the weather in Minneapolis. The last time I was
there they had 18 inches of snow on the ground. You will not want to
lug a huge heavy suitcase around minneapolis in the snow.

5. If traveling with a group, make sure that you do not get separated
from your group. It takes time to page someone over the load speaker.

6. Make sure that you have plenty of money for unexpected things like :
Taxi fare, and food.

7. Keep all important flight information and personal information, on
your body. Do not leave in Suitcase or carry on. Also don't leave
your carry on laying around where it is visible to everyone, for safety
reason. You do not want it to get stolen.

8. Don't forget your photo id, and your National Membership Card.

9. Wear something with APO on it so that other brothers can identify
you.
You might also want to wear the appropriate pin so that members can
identify you as a brother or pledge or petitioner.

10. Be safe traveling!!! Patience is the key. Don't get in a hurry,
it will only cause problems.

Please feel free to pass this on to other Conventioners.
