Holiday Savings Are in the Air from Northwest Airlines
MINNEAPOLIS -- The air is crisp and clear, carrying the hint of fir and hot
apple cider; the first holiday lights have made their appearance on lawns
and rooflines; time for a holiday sale from Northwest Airlines for travel
across the continental United States, Canada, Mexico City and Cancun.
Effective immediately, travelers can purchase tickets for travel from
December 17, 1998 through January 4, 1999. A 7-day advance purchase is
required and tickets must be purchased within 24 hours after reservations
are made or at least 7 days prior to departure, whichever comes first.

Manchester, NH / Las Vegas -- $179
Boston / Seattle -- $189
Deepest discounts are available for travel on December 17, 25, 31, 1998 and
January 1, 1999. Sale fares on days other than those specified are slightly
higher. Fares to most destinations require a Thursday or Saturday night
minimum stay, depending on travel date.
Tickets are non-refundable. Seats are limited and fares are subject to
change. Caribbean/Mexico fares subject to government approval. Some travel
may be on Northwest Airlink/Northwest designated-affiliate-partner flights.
Fares may not be lower than already-low fares to select destinations. Other
restrictions may apply.
