For those that have yet to see the letter, here's what it says
(paraphrased and condensed)
Nobody under 21 will be admitted to any of the new years eve parties, or
to "Spike's Bar and Restaurant" after 9:00 pm
Only registered guests of the hotel will be permitted on guest room
floors on new years eve, they'll be using wrist bands to enforce this.
Every occupant must register at the front desk
No liquor may be brought onto the premises. If you do, you'll be asked
to leave and/or pay associated fees.
Private in-room parties will not be tolerated, and all occupants are
subject to eviction without warning. (there's no mention of having to
stay quiet, if you're having a party, you get kicked out)
A form was mailed to the person making the room reservation (and nobody
else - if you're rooming with someone, or one person made the reservation
for the chapter, make sure you talk to the person who made the
reservation).
THe form must list the names, arrival, and drparture dates of all
occupants of all rooms you reserved.
Maximim occupancy is 5 persons per room, assigned as follows:
1 person: 1 king bed
2 people: 1 king bed
3 people: 1 king bed and one rollaway
4 people: 1 king bed and 2 rollaways
5 people: 2 double beds
These are the only configurations permitted (2 people can not have a room
with 2 double beds) and rollaways will cost $20 each (there was no
mention of whether that was per stay or per night)
You will be moved into a room corresponding to the number of people you
are staying with if it's convenient for the hotel - if you reserve for 5
and only 2 show up, you'll be moved to a king room. If you reserve for 2
and 5 show up, tough, you still get the king room. No additional linens
and blankets will be provided above what exists in the room. If you want
more, bring it yourself.
All new stayovers for new years eve are on a space available basis, and
all listed rates start at $149, all include alcohol and all require that
you be at least 21.
