Brothers:

As you may or may not know, the Gamma Mu Chapter at the University of
Evansville is seeking it's rechartering at this point in time. We
currently have four members including myself and are looking for ways to
get out on campus and get members involved in the program. The university
is keeping us low-key for now as we are "competing" with another service
organization on campus that has religious ties and is also co-educational,
and we do not meet national guidelines for recharter. Given this
situation, these are my questions

One: What do you all think the best way to get APhiO's name out there is?
Are most members of APhiO typically involved in other student
organizations, are there a lot of social greeks involved, things like that.
We have university wide newsgroups, paper bulletin boards, and most major
resources available to any student group with the exception of web space.

Two: What sets APhiO apart from other organizations with a like purpose
from your experiences? Why should the University of Evansville sponsor
such an organization? What has APhiO done for your campuses?

Any response or feedback from the list would be very appreciated. I think
that the University needs such a group as APhiO to help its student body
interact with the faculty, staff, and community, and I am very willing to
give this program all that I can, that's how much I believe in it's goals,
purposes, and founding principles....
