A question, before going on to some ideas: Is this a school where there was
a chapter before?
One way to locate any APO alums who might be working on a campus is to
advertize. Put in a small ad just asking for APO alumns to contact you. See
if you can put a classified ad in whatever newspaper the university
publishes for its staff. If that's not an option, try an ad of some kind in
the student paper. You can also try distributing or posting flyers if that
doesn't run afoul of school rules.
Right now, APO doesn't really have any lists of where its alumni work. There
might be some ways to glean this information by things like comparing a life
member list for the zip codes in your area or an alumni list from a nearby
chapter with the staff directory for your school, but I'm not sure that it
would be a very productive use of time. If you really want to pursue
something like this, contact me and we can discuss stragies & resources.
