What does everyone think about APO chapters having Fraternity Houses???
[David S. Winston]
I don't know really, a fraternity house doesn't seem like a good idea in
many views of it. Starting with that it would be Co-ed. Which in many
places the University might have problems with, not to mention the parents
of the students who be paying the bills. But none the less, it seems to me
that most chapters although they don't have an official fraternity house do
tend to have one or two brothers houses/apts. that they tend to congregate
at.
With that said, I think making a formal statement of having a house would
just be bad. It would give a negative image to the organization.
Fraternities with houses are with such for mostly social reasons. That is
something that APO needs to stay away from or its image will blend more
with the social greeks.
Just one man's thoughts.
