I do. Those are usually the votes that count. Giving them 20 directives is poor.
What if the situation changes? WHat if th the entirething they were supposed to
stand for is no longer in the debate? What then? What if a new compromise
appears appealing? Well, damn their judgement?
Please, so not fall in the trap of "ITs ok to lock your delgates into a
position" for anything. All votes must be craefully considered based upon debate
and evidence, not predetermined before the evidence is heard. A representative
listens and then votes by conscience, not by the whim of his constituents who
may not have heard all the evidence.
