One thing that has worked in the past in different chapters is to have
sort of an unofficial gathering after the meeting, such as at a
restaurant. By, "unofficial," I am NOT implying drinking, rather to
just spontaneously go out as a group to a local restaurant (sit-down
type), and have something to eat and socialize. This works
particularly well for meetings held on a weekend (such as sunday
night). It probably wouldn't work very well for a weekday meeting, as
it's in the middle of classes and all,...
But, by having such a gathering after the meeting, it gets people to
stay through the meeting, and then you all meet at a common place and
have fun...
