While I was a student at Alpha Beta (Penn State University), we used to run
service auctions where brothers would sell services (wash a car, make a
dinner, etc.). All proceeds were split evenly between any brother who went
to Nationals. At the time, everything was organized by our ICR
(Interchapter Relations) Chair, who happened to be my roomate.
