IMPORTANT NEW HOTEL INFORMATION
***PLEASE READ***
Hotel registration for the 1998 National Convention of Alpha Phi Omega is
occurring at a phenomenal pace. The Hyatt Regency still has plenty of rooms
available for Brothers, however our rooms at the Hyatt for the night of
December 31st, New Year's Eve are sold out. ALL OTHER NIGHTS AT THE HYATT ARE
STILL AVAILABLE!
In order to accommodate our largest National Convention to date, the National
Convention Committee selected two hotels in the heart of downtown Minneapolis:
the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis and the Minneapolis Regal. The two hotels are
located directly across the street from one another and are linked by the
heated Skyway system.
The Minneapolis Regal is now being made available to Brothers attending the
National Convention. Again, there are plenty of rooms available at the Regal,
however only a limited number of rooms are open for December 31st, New Year's
Eve.
The National Office and the National Convention Committee STRONGLY urge all
Brothers and Chapters attending the National Convention to make reservations
for your hotel rooms as soon as possible. This will not only guarantee you
the sleeping rooms necessary, but it will also allow the committee to
determine attendance and additional room requirements.
If you have made a reservation the Hyatt Regency and were quoted a room rate
greater than $52 for a given night, then please call the hotel to be sure they
have appropriately adjusted your rate. This occurred in a very limited number
of cases during the second and third week of September.
The committee would like to thank all those Brothers who have registered thus
far, for helping to prove that the 1998 National Convention of Alpha Phi Omega
will be the biggest and best convention to date.
