Hmm. My first reply to this went only to john. Stupid mailreader. :)
I believe that CS Robinson, Kappa, was the first female brother. Or so
I've always been told.
eeeennnnteresting.
Just a question: when was Beth initiated? I know CS Robinson went to
Nationals as a voting delegate in 1972, and that she re-initiated in
1977.

I agree with most of your comments esp re sisterhood...(Should be "Dirty
Golden Bears" as the Stanford Band sings)
However..
Zeta was the first both non-officially (initials) and by name for female
member. Her name was Beth Hesselmyer and we were told by the National that
she was the first.
Second, while single sex chapters should exist at single sex colleges, I don't
feel that they should at coed and hope everyone who agrees votes at the
National this year
