Richard, and the rest of this list,
May I please remind you to watch your tone when replying to a
group of people. There are hundreds(if not a thousand or more) of people
on this list. You may not have taken any sociology class but let me
inform you that anger released into a group of people, even small, is like
a flame in a room filled with explosive gas. It does not take long for
everyone to get hurt. Please look over your post before responding and
please censor it for politeness. If you must respond in anger, please do
it in private email. This is only a request though, so please don't take
it as doctrine.
In response though to part of your post, moreso though to inform...

The Alpha Chapter at Lafayette has only been inactive for a couple of
years(not even a decade yet). There are efforts to resurrect it as I type
this. I don't know how successful, or how far those efforts have gone,
but I do know those efforts have not ceased.
Everyone, Please try to watch others' feelings, and respect others
opinions when you post(even if they have not done the same to you). :)
Take care and Have an Excellent Day! :)
