Our Chapter went Coed this past Fall. As a result, several female "Friends" of
the Chapter (they had been part of our Little Sister program) chose to Pledge.
One was dating, and has since, become engaged to one of our Brothers. Another
Pledge has been married for a year now to our Pledge Trainer. In the case of
the engaged Pledge, we do not allow her mate to grant her service hours or be
her Big Brother. As for the married Pledge, someone other than the Pledge
Trainer checks-off her service hours (records and verifies them) and grades her
tests.
We expect this to be only a one-time problem, as several of our former
membership programs are merged into the Active Membership.
Sincerely,
Ken Hunter
