Hey! whatis is very useful, especially on the RT's:
$ whatis foo
/usr/athena/bin/man: Command not found.
I could use this to see that there's no 'man' in /usr/athena/bin on
the RT...
Seriously, whatis was indeed supposed to be punted; I think it just
got lost in the shuffle...
