After several abortive attempts on Alecto's drive, I made a backup of
Ronald-Ann overnight on Hodge's Exabyte drive (onto tape 4). The
output is logged in /mit/bitbucket/dkk. There are three files:
backup.out ("backup" really just gives the volume list)
butc.out (the complete logs of backup activity)
failures (The names of 8 volumes. See below.)
There were 8 failures of the form:
Could not start transaction on the volume 536871728 to be dumped
Volume not attached, does not exist, or not on line
The eight volumes are:
system.backup
system.xdm.backup
service.backup
admin.backup
project.backup
project.sipbsrc.backup
user.backup
user.aab.backup
