You are receiving this message because, according to our records, you are a contact for a server backing up to a Spectrum Protect (formerly known as TSM) server.

There will be multiple maintenance operations during the week of January 26, 2026.

Between 10am and 2pm on Monday, January 26th, the Spectrum Protect server software on backup-i will be upgraded.  If all goes well, the work will take around 2 hours.  However, if there are issues we may need to work with our vendor to resolve them, and that will take longer.  Please note that backup and restore processes on backup-i may hang or fail during this work. This work will not affect other Spectrum Protect servers.

Between 10am and 2pm on Tuesday, January 27th, the Spectrum Protect server software on oc11-bk-ent-1 will be upgraded.  If all goes well, the work will take around 2 hours.  However, if there are issues we may need to work with our vendor to resolve them, and that will take longer.  Please note that backup and restore processes on oc11-bk-ent-1 may hang or fail during this work. This work will not affect other Spectrum Protect servers.

Between 10am and 2pm on Wednesday, January 28th, the Spectrum Protect server software on w92-libmgr-2 will be upgraded.  This server manages tape mounts for all Spectrum Protect servers.  If all goes well, the work will take around 2 hours.  However, if there are issues we may need to work with our vendor to resolve them, and that will take longer.  Please note that during this work restores from *ANY* Spectrum Protect server may hang or fail.  this work will not affect desktop backups and restores via Code42/Crashplan.
