root.afs broken?

It appears that sipb.mit.edu:root.afs is broken somehow. Listing /afs on
hodge showed lots of entries, but only rel-eng and rel-eng.athena.mit.edu
were accessible. Rebooting didn't help, and the same problems showed up
on podge (which is in the athena cell) when I created a mount point for
sipb.mit.edu:root.afs.
I've moved hodge into the athena cell for now; can someone look into the
root.afs problem?
