We had a bunch of volume move operations fail from rosebud2 b to e,
and when I tested volume creation times, a volume creation on rosebud2
e takes 27 seconds while a creation on rosebud2 b or c takes the usual
one or two seconds.
Either Seagate is really good at putting out dud 4GB disks (we have
some Seagate 4GB disks on bed, but bed doesn't actually go to its
disks very often, and could deal with having relatively low disk
bandwidth), or we have a problem with rosebud2's system board.
I guess I'll talk to people in IS about replacing rosebud2's system
board. Maybe we can get a Dec-Certified Guy (tm) like Matt or
Jonathan to do it during non-prime-time hours.
