Nothing personal Eric, but this should be an active operation by an
AFSadmin, not a passive one (ie., you should find a current AFSadmin
who agrees that you know enough to not screw things up, and get them
to add you). In general SIPB is more protective of root bits in the
AFS cell than any other service I can think of. IMHO this is a good
thing, given the ability (even if don't understand it) of the
cell to hang many client workstations (notably including certain
machines in e40).
