As I was logging in I got lost contact messages for ronald-ann. Shabby and
Jessie (I think) went into the machine room and played with cables and it came
partly (some machine could ping it and some could not ). I was able to log in
and shutdown the AFS server processes and and rebooted it thinking it was the
normal 'decstation I have been up to long and forgot how to use the network'
bug, but shortly after it started ping after the reboot it stopped again.
Matthew is working on it while I am going to class.
