There are two procedures for getting space in the SIPB AFS cell (not the
SIPB locker, these are different, see later).
The first is the informal procedure, which is to hang out in the office and
say to someone "Hey, I was thinking about doing (foo) and wanted to get some
space in the SIPB cell. Who can give me some space?" And someone will ask
you about the idea and if it seems reasonable, space will be made.
The second is the formal procudre, which is to send mail to sipb-afsreq
describing what you want the space for, what the project is and how much space
you think you need.
Please, feel free to ask for space if you have something you want to pursue
but are concerned about your quota. Enjoy!
