I was with probe when he tried to "fix" what we thought was server
corruption. He found that both PTS databases held exactly the same
information in them, so they were not out of sync. The problem, he
claims, is that there is a bug in the ptserver, most likely in the
RS/6000. This was one of the reasons that we wanted to replace
rosebud with a DEC!
Anyways, it is unclear when this will be fixed. I doubt probe is
working on it, since I doubt it is a priority. As for us, well, we do
have an extra DEC right now, called yaz-pistachio, right??? ;-)
