To look at possible /srvd arrangements, I created project.dec-srvd.nb
on ronald-ann a. Currently, all of the emacs stuff from /srvd is
copied there, and everything else is a symlink back to /srvd.afs
(presumably this would point to /afs/athena/system/pmax_ul4/srvd.76).
If anyone wants to use this, you can go ahead and modify things in
/afs/.sipb/project/dec-srvd. If people think it's obviously better to
create symlinks to AFS only from /var/server, you can just remove the
volume; it has nothing else of interest.
(Just in case there's any confusion: the contents of project/dec-srvd
would be local files in /u0/srvd. I'm *not* suggesting that /srvd
itself ought to point somewhere in the sipb cell :-).
