"vos release" does an incremental dump. If the RO was corrupted then
the incremental dump won't help because it won't change the corrupt
file (since it hasn't been modified, it won't be in the incremental
dump). Either change the file and directory that are bad or delete
the bad RO volume (I can use my AFS client program to find out which
it is, if you don't know) and recreate it.
