Greetings fellow Assassins. With Moon Over Bourbon Street fast
approaching, I'm sure that some of you are feeling, as I am, that you are not
properly versed in the ways of the Gangster genre. In order to remedy this, we
will be holding a three-part Gangster movie-marathon in the first half of this
week. Movies will be showing approximately two per night, starting at 7pm, this
Monday through Wednesday, in rooms TBA. Barring any strong opposition, the two
movies slated for Monday will be 'Miller's Crossing' and 'The Untouchables',
both must-sees. Movies currently available and under consideration for future
nights:
Miller's Crossing
The Untouchables
Public Enemy
The Big Heat
Harlem Nights
Shadow of the Thin Man
Lady for a Night
Suggestions for other movies to show are welcome, and should be sent to
me (kurgan@mit.edu). If you are able to lend us the movie you suggest, that
would be even better.
